Access to Information
eMaze enables you to access, view and manage your school’s information over the web. Teachers can access information from home, whilst parents can access their child’s attendance and academic records.

eMaze Access Levels
eMaze consists of a series of web pages presented as Access Levels within Web Sites hosted by IIS. A typical eMaze installation includes three access levels, each of which is available at a specific domain. Each access level may be setup individually to have its own appearance,
permissions and other configuration options.
The intranet access level is intended for a secure LAN or VPN so that staff may use a wide variety of Maze display and report formats in a secure environment. The intranet access level is trusted and may provide all eMaze features.
The extranet access level is intended for a secure connection over the internet so that staff with permission for remote access may use eMaze from home.
The public access level is intended for an internet web site to publish school information, community forums, allow online enrolments and provide limited access to personal information for students, parents, old members and guests. The public access level uses a widely published domain and features made available online should be carefully selected and setup with appropriate security to prevent unauthorised access to sensitive data.
