Maze 8 VS3a

 

This public release is aimed at providing a consolidated, stable and feature rich product to allow you to move with us in the future.  It is the last JET release of Maze before Version Nine and addresses major issues with previous releases and provides Calendar and Timetabling enhancements.

Major features in this release:

  • Calendar and Timetabling enhancements in Maze VS2a have been retrofitted into this release
  • Calendar enhanced to allow a grid to have more than one exam grid on a day, enable sorting of absentees in the Teacher Absences and Replacements screen and display warning colour when selecting unavailable replacement teachers
  • Payroll enhanced to comply with the quarterly Superannuation Guarantee Legislation
  • Creditor payment auto generation allocate correct reference numbers
  • Significant speed improvements for previous year processing
  • Recording GST commitments for Creditor Orders and Invoices across end of year has been amended
  • A new patching standard compatible across all Maze releases enabling delivery of critical product updates in the form of controlled patches and service packs to ensure product stability
  • New install process to automatically uninstall and provide scripts for Silent Install

RM Asia Pacific Software Release Policy

RM Asia Pacific follows a two-stage release process for Maze.  The first release is a controlled release where only authorised service providers are given the new software for implementation.  This is to ensure that the consultants implementing the software have demonstrated capability in managing upgrades and can respond to any issues that arise in a controlled and efficient manner.

The release moves to a public release once we are satisfied that the release procedures and documentation are sufficient for public installation.  Self developing sites and unauthorised service providers can then perform upgrades.
